Together with the Independence Heights Redevelopment Council (IHRC) and its partners, Catholic Charities Community Development Corporation (CDC) is working to revitalize this historic neighborhood and create home ownership opportunities for low to moderate-income families. The new homes are priced to limit the threat of gentrification and create opportunities for current residents to remain in the historic community settled by their grandparents.

This program addresses the need for education and counseling to individuals and families who are in the low-moderate income range seeking to learn more about the homeownership process.
